About the Artist

For as long as I can remember, I’ve never sat around idly. I’ve always kept my hands moving.

I started working in a body shop at a young age. Over the years I learned how to work with metal and the mechanics behind it. While painting cars, I realized how the eye perceives things and the basis of color. Building custom cars and motorcycles opened my eyes to other forms of art. Fueled by my desire to constantly create new things, I entered the contemporary art world. I believe all my years and skills learned have led me to this juncture.

My outlook on art is simple. “Does it excite you, does it look cool”? I’ve never limited myself to one form of art. I enjoy sculpture, handmade furniture, and abstract paintings. Working with all things motorized will always be a facet of my life, too. Everything I create utilizes the skills I’ve amassed in the auto body world. In sculpture, I try to challenge the viewer’s perception of weight and mass. When painting, I like vibrant and loud colors that brighten a space and a person’s mindset. I am inspired by anyone that tries to promote a better environment for all of us to live in.
